The Board of Directors of the Waterford Sound Homeowners Association (HOA) would like to welcome you and your family to your new neighborhood! We sincerely hope you find Waterford Sound an enjoyable place to call home.

This HOA web site contains pertinent information, such as our governing Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CC&Rs) and By-Laws & policies. You will also find valuable community information, i.e. Quarterly Board Meetings info and Social Events.

We welcome volunteers and suggestions to keep our neighborhood looking beautiful to protect our property value. You, as a homeowners have a vested interest. Current Board Members can be found on The Welcome letter or by clicking HERE

Waterford Sound Association and HOA board do not monitor social media accounts, nor will we respond via social media accounts. Make sure you are paying to a friend/individual, not for a business or service! We are a non-profit, so we do not want a business account, as that will charge us fees, which we will be forced to reject or pass on the homeowner. No one wants that. Paying with your bank account is free. There may be charges for paying through other methods. You accept those at your own discretion.

OTHER WAYS TO PAY:

Wait for your bi-annual bill (sent in January and July). Pay then according to the instructions on your invoice.
Send in past due balances to: Waterford Sound HOA, PO Box 6389, Navarre, FL 32566.
Homeowners will have the option to pay by backdraft. Please contact the treasurer for more information. Backdraft requires a signed electronic disclosure agreement and an email on file.
Contact your treasurer for alternate options.

UNPAID DUES, NSF CHECKS, AND OTHER PAYMENT ISSUES:

Paying your association dues is incredibly important for the upkeep of our neighborhood and for protecting home equity and home values. Plus, every homeowner agrees to pay their dues on time when they purchase in this neighborhood. Neighborhood dues go toward common area maintenance, retention pond upkeep, street repair, street lighting, common area structures like the playground, and other unseen requirements like common area property taxes.
Homeowners are given 30 days to make payment after receiving their bi-annual statement of dues.
After the due date, owners in arrears are charged interest and applicable fees in accordance with Florida law and community covenants.
The association board reserves the right to turn over any past due account to the association lawyer, in accordance with Florida law and the association covenants. Additional fees may be assessed by the lawyer at that time. Accounts that have been sent to collections should be handled through the lawyer and not with the board. Owners who are a year or more behind on payments should expect to be turned over to collections.
How to avoid interest, fees, and lawyers costs? Pay your dues by the printed due date on the invoice. If you are experiencing a financial hardship, please contact the board to work out a payment arrangement. Don't wait until the bill is late. We know that things happen, and keeping open, timely communication with the board helps prevent added costs.
If you have not received an invoice (sent in January and July)) and believe you should have, it is your responsibility to contact the board to check the status of your account.
Payments returned to the association will incur a $25 NSF fee.
